SOURCE: lost ipod nano

Hey maddie13,

Unfortunately, Best Buy Product Replacement Plans (PRP's) only include coverage for hardware failures and manufacturer defects. If your iPod has been lost or stolen, we would be unable to provide you with a replacement.

If you would like however, your local Best Buy™ store should be able to cancel your current PRP coverage and provide you with a pro-rated refund for its cancellation. To do so, you would simply need to bring a copy of your original store receipt to the service desk to your local store and request to have your PRP cancelled/returned.

Hope this helps you out.

Sincerely,
Aaron

My 3rd Generation iPod Nano died and won't charge.

You may just need to leave it plugged in for a few hours and see if it comes to life. It is usually the case.

I am sure you will be fine.. give it a try

My ipod stopped working

Yes, it is possible for a battery to die, though 2 or 3 months is a bit short. If you have some way of proving the date of purchase you should be able to take the iPod to an Apple store and talk to one of the "Genius" guys. If it is a battery it should still be covered under warranty. If it isn't covered under warranty, they will be able to get a replacement battery for you which would be cheaper than buying a new one. Hope that helps!
