Question about Dell 3100cn Laser Printer
How can i reset the printer drum so it will print again?
already emptied out the drum and pushed the black pin back in.
There's a RFID chip that has instructed the printer to give this message. You can replace the chip by yourself.

I have found no way to do this, the only option is to replace it, there is no reset like the Dell 1700 series.

Reset chips can be purchased from www.lasertekservices.com/contact_us.cgis for about $16.00.
here is a link for a discussion on replacement;
I hope this helps!

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
