If it doesn't then there is no way to do it. I will check and get back to you ASAP.

Just checked and your model only features a DV input...meaning it can only accept from another device with a DV output. I am sorry but what you ask for, cannot be done.

I cant taransfer my video from vz55 vhs movie camera panasonic nv vz55to pc as i do not have transfer cable pls help to find where i can buy this cable and how

To do the transfer you will require an Analouge to Digital Converter box.
You connect the camera to the A/D Converter with analogue cables (RED, WHITE AND YELLOW RCA connectors) then use a firewire cable to connect the A/D Converter to the computer.

Panasonic PV-GS300 Mini DV Digital Camcorder Driver For Windows 7 I have used this camcorder on Windows XP

Okay, it is a pain in the neck, but it will allow you to get your videos off of the GS300 and into a usable .avi format...

If you go to the Panasonic Website, it will give you an option to download two video editing programs. Movie Studio and SweetMovieLife. Download SWEETMOVIELIFE, the other program is very limiting, but SweeMovieLife will capture the video and save it as an .avi file and you can then movie it into a better editing program such as Camtasia or Microsoft Movie Maker. It adds a few extra steps to the process, but will at least allow you to use the GS300 in the Windows 7 Environment until Microsoft wakes up and comes up with a fix for this extremely annoying issue!!! Hope this helps! :)

P.S. If you try to use MovieStudio, it saves the file as an .hap file and does not give you another option. None of my "real" video editing programs recognize that extension. Personally, I think the program was pretty useless.

How to view and download the recordings

You need to purchase a device that converts analog video to digital. It looks like a little box (or cable) with video and audio inputs on one side and a USB or firewire connector on the other. There are lots of choices and prices depending on whether you want to edit the video or just view it on your computer.

By the way, don't be confused by those set top boxes that convert Digital TV signals to your old TV because of the February change in broadcast standards. That's completely a different issue.

I cant import my movies from my panasonic nv_gs15

A DV cable is required only if your camera is having a DV port, without which it is not possible to transfer the movies. only way is getting it done from outside professionals.
