Question about Bosch 24 in. SGS43C12 Classixx Free-Standing Dishwasher
If it is the one I am thinking of, then the whole light assembly is actually able to move and this also acts as the switch.
Turn off the appliance and unplug.
You should be able to prise the whole assembly out to check the contacts at the back. Try just pulling the light unit downwards and out, and see if you can see the switch. Use a small screwdriver at the points indicated with a triangle.If you can't see the switch - prise the surround out also.If you cannot get to them because it is a sealed unit, you may have to break it apart to solve the problem. Use a glue suitable for polystyrene to repair it (model shops sell this).
If it will not repair well, you need to replace this part - but you tried.
