The power supply inside check for the AC adopter if not the problem is due to DC jack.if you change is it ll go well.since you are saying there is no display check out the VGA....hook up theexternal VGA port and try .if there is a display then you have to change theVGA.

Ok i have an unusual problem i have a hi grade laptop and it keeps going off and sometimes it will not come back on no matter how many times i press on off button .When it does this the wireless light...

First try taking out the battery, turn on your computer and the try wiggling the adapter near the DC jack. If it powers off doing this then you need your jack replaced. If you are sure this is not the problem and you are comfortable with it take the motherboard out and remove all extra pieces from it. Only attach what is necessary to be able to test it (power strip if there is one, lcd, keyboard, and mem if you have no onboard memory) then plug it in and turn it on. If wiggling the jack doesn't power it off try taping on the larger square chips(BGA's)See if you can get it to power off. DO NOT REMOVE THE CPU. If you have more than one stick of mem take one out and test them one at a time. If you have more than one slot test both slots. If you cannot get it to shut off add the extras one by one testing after you add each piece. Try the wireless card first. If you do this correctly you may be able to figure out what piece is causing the problem. Make sure you are careful not to touch the keyboard or anything else conductive to the motherboard while it is powered on. I don't know what level you are at in respects to knowledge of computer so I have to ask. Are you absolutely sure it is powering off? Sometimes if the lcd is going out it can appear to some as if it has turned off. If you have any questions please ask. This kind of troubleshooting can be a difficult task for most.

Sounds to me like the keyboard may be going bad on you. What you may want to try is to unplug the keyboard and to plug it back in and see if that works. Could be that keyboard needs to be reseated into its slot. Do this with the laptop turned off. Its a tab that comes up. Where the keyboard is hooked up to the keyboard use a flathead screwdriver and put it a liitle bit underneath the tab that is holding the keyboard cable in place. Turn the screwdriver around to make the tab come up and it will release the keyboard cable. Then go ahead and make sure the keyboard cable is seated properly.

Turn on the laptop and if it works properly then your good, if your still having the same problems then the keyboard needs to be replaced.

DS Lite resets

You have a fault in the power modulator located on the motherboard.

You will have to bring it to a repair shop to get it fixed as it requires a fair bit of knowledge to sort it out.
