Computer froze and can not move the mouse arrow. I did try to restart as well but arrow will not move

Does the keyboard work?

Try putting the mouse in another USB port, or even better try another mouse. You might need to let it "install" the mouse first, this can take a minute or so when you boot up, so all you need to do is turn the PC on with the new mouse plugged in and leave it for a while, then try to use it again.

If the keyboard isn't working either, then it sounds like the Operating System is a bit broken! contact me and i'll try to help you fix it.

I cant get past the user login screen. my arrow on my moniter isnt moving. plz help.

plug out your mouse again and plug it in, then start the computer from the start. If happens again, then the mouse may have gone faulty otherwise if the mouse is ok, it will work.

Frozen mouse every thing works perfect, instead of an arrow ,i have an egg timer.please can you help.tried key board and mouse on another comp. both work perfectly..

sounds like your computer is either infected with a virus scan it well, free on that works well is avast antivirus, or there are too many programs running and slowing down system, hit control-alt-delete and shut down extra programs and see if this makes difference if it does do selecting start up and shutdon unneeded programs or delete them

Arrow wont move

Dear Fayereid01,

You said "I have a dell computer and when I turn it on to the desktop the arrow wont move to go any further its a desktop with a IBM keyboard"

Make sure that the mouse is plugged into the the correct port. If the mouse you are using is a USB mouse then try other USB ports. If it is another type of mouse that uses a different plug, then try all the ports on your computer that it fits into until it works. It sounds unprofessional but it should work.

If none of this works then put in the CD that should of come with you mouse and install the drivers for your mouse. If you cant find the disc for your mouse then go online to the manufacturers website and you should be able to download the drivers there.

If you run the mouse up the side does a little arrow appear? If it does you can pull on that arrow, using the mouse and recenter your display. Try this first and if it doesnt work, get back to me.

There should be a connect button on both the mouse and the receiver. Press the connect button on the receiver, then on the mouse. Sometimes you have to use a paper clip or a pen to push this button. This synchronizes the radio frequency being used.
