Question about Logitech Rumblepad 2 Game Pad
I have a logitech rumblepad 2. Had it for 4 months. Was working fine till now. The receiver detects fine and you can see the light blinking. In fact the lights on the pad blink too. But they just dont seem to communicate. Please help
I saw your post and searched on, until i found a somewhat similar problem on ms support.
I adapted the solution and did the following (without understanding what i did)
first i rendered my computer useless, then got back to last working config and did the real fix.
I'll tell you what to do and what not to do!
When I connected my device, I got an error 41 under device status (in start->run->devmgmt.msc)
What to do: Find the HID category (on my machine it is here:)
remove the 'UpperFilters' key, if it is there
Subsequently I removed the subfolders under that category( 0000,0001 etc), corresponding to any usb device that had previously been connected - I'm not sure this is necessary, though.
What NOT to do: remove UpperFilters and LowerFilters anywhere else (i tried that, it was fatal)
