Question about HP LaserJet 2200dn Printer
My laserjet 2200dtn produces dirty-looking printouts because of repeating horizontal lines and words printed about 1 to 1.5 inches apart. If I have to get the head/rollers cleaned, will it be easy to do it myself?
Also, it experiences frequent paper jams because paper feeds more than 1 at a time. How do I prevent this? What do I need to fix?
Thank you very much for whatever help you can extend on this frustrating exprience.
Sounds like it needs a maintenance kit. This will include a fuser, which should resolve the problem of the repeated horizontal lines and ghosted words. It will also cause more frequent paper jams when it needs maintenance.
A manual for installing a maintenance kit can be found online but sometimes will come with the kit. Google it anyway as it will give you an idea of the work involved.
Hope this helps!
