If it is a windows operating system disc that is missing ,unfortunatly you will have to obtain one ,unless the pc gives you an option when booting up to go into recovery such as press F11 to enter recovery.it can recover back to a pre- delivered state. if it is a driver disc, say for a printer, modem, etc search the net for the drivers you need, a good site is www.driverguide.com you need to register but its free.

hope this is of help

How to restore a emachines windows 7 laptop when my kernel debugger DLL is missing and i dont have my windows installation disc

A good place to start would be to use the in-built system restore. Most factory shipped PC's (and laptops) have a recovery partition already there. Have a look in the manual on how to run the recovery from this.

Blue screen

Hi
The blue screen is referred to as 'The Screen of Death' in technical terms. This means Your Operating System may have crashed. Can you be able to access the hard disk? Try removing it and leaving it for 15 minutes before connecting again.Solved?
Try repairing the Operating System using the original installation disc or enslaving the hard drive to a machine with a good System.

Thank you.

Acer Aspire one D250. Upon starting up it says: windows root sys32.hll.dl is missing or corrupt, please install this file. Then when I hit enter it says: disk error has occurred press ctrl alt del to...

Your Windows installation has become corrupted.

You need to repair the Windows Installation with the aid of the Original Windows Disk. It is a tricky business, a computer technician will be able to do it for you if you get stuck.

Ok if your printer is usb, then you need to install the software FIRST before plugging the printer into the computer via usb.

Gotot this website

On the right it will say what OS do you have. Select your operating system. DOwnload the driver for the printer. Prolly the first one displayed, then download the driver. Install it. Restart your computer, then plug the printer into your computer via usb. I hope this helps. If not please contact me so i can help you further!!! Let me know how it goes!!

Corrupt driver

One method you can use if you have another computer is you can take the hard drive out of the machine, and connect it to an external enclosure, Ive seen them as cheap as $10. After it is connected to another machine, you can download the driver file that is being reported as corrupt or missing to that computer, extract the file and copy it back to that location on the laptop's drive. This may be a little bit difficult if driver files like ntoskrnl or ntldr go missing, you have technically had your bootstrap loader go bad. There is the possibility that you can copy those files from any other machine running the same version of windows to replace the corrupt files. The only problem with this is that this can occasionally cause more problems than it can fix, because during the installation process these files get embedded with the information about the computer it was installed on, which can panic the registry or driver lists.
