Question about Panasonic Lumix DMC-LZ2 Digital Camera

1 Answer

Lumix DMC-FZ7 While keeping my camera out of view on the floor of my car on the drivers side I failed to remember it was there and moved the electric seat forward and heard this CRUNCH ! Don't even go there.. It appears the unit is working fine and still taking great pictures. While the rear viewing window is cracked in three places I can still see the all the data info and picture images. Can that rear glass window be replaced, and if so at what cost? Thanks, JH

The rear screen can be replaced. Unfortunately Panasonic specifically charges so much for their replacement parts that it is not an economical repair on this model of camera. The replacement screen will run in the range of $125-$145 and the labor to install it will be about $50 depending on where you go.

You are best advised to get a new camera, although because this one still "works" you can still use it as a back up!

How do i get the date stamped on the pictures from my panasonic lumix dmc-fz7

The date and time (and a lot more) are stored with every picture in its EXIF metadata. Any photo viewing/editing program should be able to display this data. To print this data, please consult the documentation for whatever program you're using to print your pictures. Depending on the program and printer you may print the date on the image, in the margins, or on the back.

Windows:
Try going to MY COMPUTER, and see if the camera is listed there. If it is, then double-click it, and open the sub-folder containing pictures. Then drag and drop them to another folder.
