Scroll will not work

Because there is not a transparent plastic cap on the whole under the mouse, dust and any other debris gets stuck in the whole. Vaccuum out the whole, then place a piece of transparent tape over the whole. This has cured my problem.

note: whatever gets in that whole, makes the mouse go haywire.

If it's a wireless mouse the batteries may need replacing or there may be a driver problem, try uninstalling the mouse then reinstalling it or try reinstalling the driver again,

Please rate if at all useful, thanks!

Need Mouse Driver for Mac Leopard

Without the drivers the mouse runs great. The only thing you can't do is use the second scroll wheel to scroll left and right. Instead the mouse scrolls in the opposite direction than the first scroll wheel. The side buttons can be configured within OSX and Windows for whatever you might want.

Wireless Mouse

Have you changed the batteries recently?

Normal 0 Normal 0 If the mouse doesn't have a little door to open on the bottom, then try this. Just behind the Left and Right keys where your hand rests, apply firm pressure down on the cover and slide to the rear. Some mouse manufactures have used this type of access to replace the batteries.

If it’s a wireless GE mouse turn it on by pushing the button on the bottom and hold till the red light comes on. Assuming the computer is running, press the Blue light on the Receiver and then, press the button on the bottom of the mouse and it should start tracking on the monitor.
Hope this helps. Bud
