My videocamera is displaying the E:61:10 (self diagnosis display function) - which I understand from the manual means that I need to contact an authorized Sony repair facility - but I am wondering if there is anything I can try at all to fix this problem? Basically, when I try to videotape the image I see appears to be very blurred, and the image is very "shaky", even though the menu settings appear to be correct. I can play back video that was previously videotaped a few days ago - but not now. I did accidentally drop the camera a couple of days ago - I'm sure related to the current problem - but is there anything I can do or check to possibly fix this?

This camera is SO awesome! It's the SONY HANDYCAM DIGITAL 8 TRV 510. My parents bought it in 1998 and I recently started using it this year for my job. I'm a private investigator and this camera just did the job for me. HOWEVER, one day @ work it suddenly started giving me that E 61: something message and now won't focus or try to zoom in. I have bid on the same camera on EBAY and keep losing. I need a camera exactly like this because the ones they make now are shitty. PLEASE HELP!
