Actually, the LAN port has not problems whatsoever. Its the wireless Wlan. Switches on and off from time to time, cutting off the internet.

Its our wireless that keeps going on and off, not the LAN. You almost got an inappropriate.

Problem staying connected to internet

If you are connected via Ethernet cable, it works fine? Are all the computers wireless? Does the laptop change when moved? If you place it next to another Computer on wireless is the signal the same? Is this a issue that changes every day you boot the machine? Are the other machines static? Have you done all the Acer and windows updates? Has the laptop always been this way? Way to many variables, It's not a simple question to answer. That said, maybe a bad antenna in the laptop.

My Fujitsu wont stay connected to my wireless internet

Maybe the wireless card in the laptop is no good or not strong enough to receive a good strong signal. Try sitting close to the wireless router and see if it loses connection. Does it connect at all and let you on the internet before it loses the signal? If it does not connect at all I'd say you might have an issue with the password or the type of wireless security protocol type you selected to connect with. For example there are different types of wifi security protocol types: (Ex. wep, wpa, wpa2) .

I have a Toshiba M105-S3041 and the wifi will not stay connected. it will connect for a minute or two then drop it. if i repair the connection it works but it stays connected for a minute or two then drop....

Sometimes it is better to turn off firewall protection and limit your start up programs when you use wifi connection. Firewall protection is not recommended when using a wireless broadband or wifi because it blocks the signal especially on laptop computers.

Acer 5920 aspire wont start

1. Remove laptop battery, optical drive, hard drive and ram. Remove external peripherals as well.

2. Make sure AC Adapter is not yet connected to the laptop. Pressand hold on the laptop’s power button for 10 seconds to drain the powerflea.

3. Connect the AC Adapter for laptop to a known good power outlet, check ACAdapter power LED if it is on. Try to sense if AC Adapter is not makinga bit of noise when it is plugin to the wall power outlet.

4. Connect now the AC Adapter tothe laptop. Check if AC Adapter LED stays on when it is connected tothe laptop. If the LED stays on means the AC Adapter is fine. If the ACAdapter LED turned off check the AC Adapter pin that goes to the laptopAC socket if it is loose.

5. If AC Adapter stays on after connecting to the laptop try topower on laptop. If no power LED comes on then this is motherboardproblem.

6. Before replacing the motherboard there is one checking needs todo. If you can open your laptop bottom part then good, do this whenlaptop is not connected to any power source. Try to reseat the laptopCMOS battery then try to power on laptop after, if still fails thenreplace motherboard. I hope this helps.
