I have a Janome 10000 memory craft computerized embroidery sewing machine. I also have a software program called Digitizer 10000 . The program requires a security device to be attached via parallel port. My laptop does not have one. Is there a device I can use via usb or pcmia to attach it.

I have just used jrn feed 10000 reset sequence bt I only have key 4 and 6 for my te-8500f and when I try and use these keys to sign on it says "wrong operator" can I get around or reverse this?

If you have performed a 10000 reset then you have lost everything from the machine. The operators will need to be signed on using the 5 black buttons at the top of the keyboard marked CLK1, CLK2 etc.
you will now need to re-program the memory allocation and machine settings which are in this manual:

I need new software, i have software that i need to down load but i cant put A x64 on a x84 platform, i need help . i have embroidery sewing machine singer ce 250, the software what i get can't install to...

It sounds like you are trying to download the wrong version of software. If your machine runs x86 (32bit) operating system, then x64 (64bit) software will not work. Contact the company who makes the software and ask them for a download location for the 32bit version.

Hope this helps

Janome MC8000 Machine makes a grinding noise when turned on, and then I get a "stepping motor error". Machine will not sew. Husband is an engineer and will likely be able to repair the problem...

Hi again and welcome back to FixYa.

It is nice of you to remember. To your concern, possibilities are:
  • if the grinding noise is coming from the bobbin case area, then pls ensure that nothing is stuck/caught there, it would only take a small foreign object to trigger the problem; or
  • verify that the embroidery carriage in its parked/original position;
  • there would be a sensor/switch that tells the computer that the embroidery carriage is back. Pls check that if the carriage is back and see if you can check the sensor/switch;
  • worst case scenario is that the controller's circuit board is faulty. In some case, it could just be the wires or connection leading to the controller board.
Good luck and Thank you for using FixYa again. Happy Holidays.
