I have a RCA D61W20 chassis ITC222, I had the same problem and my repair guy found out the blue bulb was the main problem, along with replacing some transisters on one of the power boards, He also had to adjust the service convergence (not auto convergence). Works great now!
That can either be the Flyback or the HV splitter. The flyback is located on the lower left hand side when looking in the rear and has a large red cable coming out of its top. The HV splitter is located in the front in the center of the set. These are both very easy and inexspensive to replace. I can post a link where you can get replacements with instructions. If you would like.
You could have shorted Yoke and if so you have to replace all 3 yokes another thing that can cause this is Capacitors on Deflection board cp150,cp114,cp120 If cp150 2200uf 16v is puffed up on top then it is bad ,so replace all 3 caps other 2 are 220uf 35v.
are you looking for this part? http://www.partstore.com/Part/Thomson/RCA/264658/New.aspx?ModelMfgName=Thomson&ModelBrandName=RCA&ModelNumber=D52W17BYX1 if so, just make sure your model number is on the listed devices.
sounds like the Red CRT (tube) has shorted. You can test by removing the RED crt circuit from the end of the RED tube and making sure it isnt touching anything try powering up the set. If it comes on and doesnt shut down the red tube is the problem and will need to be replaced . expensive part to replace the Red XRT will be over 300 and at least 2-3 hundred to have it installed unless you know someone who can replace it for you.
