Image does not position well

My Sony Bravia KDL-46v3000 used to position image well, but three weeks ago I dont get image well. Some of the captions at the bottom can not be seen and sometimes the human head is cut off. I have tried resetting but nothing improves

Your Sony TV remote has a "WIDE" button. Press this a few times in a row some that you understand it's operation. Then pick a mode (I would recommend "FULL") that fits your needs. I hope this helps.

I would contact Sony customer service on the phone with the model number to see if this is a known issue or they have an answer--takes time but may be the best way.

i have the same problem, apparently the LCD panel needs to be replaced and this will cost more than the tv is worth... Advice is to not buy a sony again, because this is a common problem and they wont extend the warranty, even if its 2 weeks after it runs out...

If you are using a cable box, then the closed captioning is turned on & off with the cable box, not with the TV remote.
