Question about Audio Players & Recorders
The problem is that yesterday I got the mp3 player and it worked but today it won't work everytime I plug it in, it don't do anything. The computer ain't even reading it. It's supposed to make this weird little sound when you plug it in so you know that it is connected but it's not. So if you can please, please, please, please, please, please, please help me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My computer won't read my RCA Pearl mp3 player. It was working, but my son pulled it out and now it won't work in computer.
My other PC say file error, can't read. Some songs on it plays, some sound weird.
Its not your son's fault. Apparently this product sucks. I contacted RCA and they told me that if i had my receipt they'd send me a refurbished product or to send in $55 and they'd fix it. apparently MANY other people have problems with this product. My suggestion is if you have the packaging and receipt just choose another product. RCA knows this product sucks yet wont recall or help in fixing it.

I think the one causes it is the improper unplugging of your son maybe the program of your mp3 player was corrupted.
You try to plug it on your pc then try to check if your pc detects it. if its detected try to check it on your mp3 player application and see if theres a repair function on it, if not, well you better look for a function that formats your mp3 player

A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

I have to disable Opel or do an uninstall from Device Manager then reconnect it to be able to get it to charge.

Some models have reset switches some do not.
Look on the back of your mp3 there should be a tiny hole there.
That is the reset switch for most opal. Other way to reset is hold power button down for 15 seconds.
If you cant find it you will have to go to the RCA website and download the latest firmware.
