you can use the remote or by using the menu button in your tv. go to timer settings then just turn set to off.

you'll need to acquire an rf modulator if the vcr does not have an rf out to tv connector, the electronics department of any discount store has these in stock, it comes with installation instructions and the necessary accessories for you to make the install.

Reset the password to '0000' by holding the VolumeDown and ChannelUp buttons on the TV (not remote) for about 5 seconds. Do this while viewing blocked content- you'll see the screen blink when it gets reset. Then go into the menu and disable/change the v-chip settings as desired using password '0000'. All we needed was the schematic for the timer/control.

So, in the future, you can remember this....

Without line out connections on the DVD/VCR unit and line in or RF modulator for the back of the TV in question, that cannot be done...accordianman
