Maybe your norton is configured on a high security state. you better configure it as minimal security state. by browsing and reading whats inside your norton, you could find the things you have to adjust to enable some services of your PC.

Renewal free norton Antirus 2010.

If you only need the anti-virus component of Norton 360 (it also includes an email filter and some other components) then I would recommend a newly-available free antivirus program, see the instructions for installation here:
http://www.fixya.com/support/r5317428-actually_free_antivirus_software_windows

However, if you do need the other components of Norton 360 I would choose another paid software. You can either go online to Norton's website and download the newest version of Norton 360 here:
http://antivirus.norton.com/content/en/us/home_homeoffice/html/paid/seo02252010/SEO_Static_Option_3_Col_Radio_02252010.html?om_sem_cid=hho_sem_sy:us:ggl:en:e|kw0000004480|5995564156&om_sem_site={adcopy}
When the program tells you that it has expired five days ago there is likely a link in this window for a website at which you can renew your subscription. This is likely a cheaper alternative to buying an entire new version of Norton 360 and will do the same thing, so try following this link and paying to increase your subscription if you want the suite of security software.

Your computer will now be secured from threats again!

We paid for a 2 year subscription to have Norton Internet Security installed on 3 computers in our home. On my computer, it says I must renew, even though we have aroung 471 days left on our subscription....

Norton is a pain in the **** it slows down your pc's and takes up too much memory

Send them an email and cancel your deal with them now before they hook you into another 2 year subscription

Your machine will not get shut down it will just nag you to pay them more cash.

If you look at the Norton screen there will be an About box , click on that go to licence then enter the details from the same box on one of your working pc's.

Go to www.eset.com and look at NOD32 it is much better or go to www.filehippo.com and download the free version of Avast.

Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage

Diana, I feel it is Norton clashing somewhere. Can you uninstall Norton and then browse. If you can browse properly then it is Norton that has created the problem. You can then try some other anti virus. If the problem still persists then probably your tech friend is correct and you must take it to the store you bought it from and have the computer reset. But, before that you must start IE and tweak with the Internet Options from Tools. But keep noting down what you are doing so that you can undo those changes.

Hi, I keep getting this everytime I try to pay for something online by card. ''Navigation To Webpage Was Cancelled'' Any Ideas?

From Microsoft: "you may experience a problem when you visit some Web pages that are in different Internet Explorer security zones. When the problem occurs, you receive a message that resembles the following: Navigation to the webpage was canceled
This problem occurs if the navigation causes Protected Mode settings to change from On to Off. You can determine which Internet Explorer security zone a Web page is in by looking at the status bar at the bottom of the Internet Explorer 7 window.
This problem occurs because Internet Explorer 7 switches Protected Mode settings when certain Web pages are configured in the Trusted Sites area of the Security tab of the Internet Options dialog box. By default, Protected Mode is set to Off for Web sites that are configured in the Trusted Sites area"

Security alert pop-ups every few seconds

Try going to trendmicro.com and look for "Housecall" Run that and see if it finds anything... If it doesn't go through with that you might have to format the drive and reinstall Windows after having backed up data (.doc files, etc.)

No Internet Connection after Installing Norton 360

I had same problem. I went to Start\All Programs\Accessories\System Tools\System Restore. I picked date before which Norton 360 was installed. It got my internet connection back. I'm not even going to try Norton anymore. Time better spent trying to get my money back.

Norton renewal subscription

the problem lies in the registry uninstall norton 360 then re-install this clears the reg then try your key again.

my personal View Don't use norton 360 as it will slow your system down use Kespersky Internet security this is the best one out and also use avg virus program when you switch to kaspesky internet security then remove avg which you can get a free version.
