Well please explain more clearly your connection so i can help you better. and about your verizon... it depends what type of verizon connection you have and i belive you said you have DSL. if you are trying to play games such as Gears of War where there is a large reliance on the host's connection you will definitly want a faster connection such as broadband or the new verizon FIOS which will alow you to support all of the players in your game without a large amount of lag factoring into the game play. and nobody likes a laggy connection.

Where do i put hinternet connection cord at?

1. Go to Best Buy. Get a Linksys wireless router. Hook up your internet to the slot in the back that says INTERNET. Then attach an internet wire into slot 1. Plug the other end into your computer. Repeat with any other computers. Put the CD in any computer hooked up with the Linksys. Set it so wireless connections are allowed and set a password. Use the internet channel, wait until your Linksys pops up, and enter you password. You're good to go.

Note: I was talking about this Linksys: http://www.linksysbycisco.com/US/en/supp...

2. Get a $40 Wi-Fi adapter and hook it up to your computer (assuming it has internet). After setup, You will have Wi-Fi, but it has a tiny range. I recommend the router. The router has a MUCH larger range and costs $20-$120 depending on how fast and how large of a range you want. Any router will work as long as it's wireless.

Xbox wireless controller won't work . Batteries are new. The light just flashes. The console doesnt recognize controller

There is a small round button located on the Xbox next to the second memory card slot "slot B" push that to search for the controller. At the the same time there is a small round button located at the top of the controller next to the cord's slot in the middle, push this as well. Both the Xbox and controller should start flashing in a circle then they will start blinking together indicating they are linked. If you have a cord for the controller you can simply plug in the cord and it will automatically link, eliminating the steps above.

I have no computer or cable and need to set up internet on my PS3

??? A router will NOT replace your modem; the router won't work without the modem. If you're going to give advice, please make sure it is somewhat correct.

Okay. So first you need the telephone cord to go from the phone jack into the DSL port on your modem. Then you need the Ethernet cable that came with your modem (looks like a phone cord but much bigger) to go from the ethernet port in the back of the modem into the wan or internet port on the router. Verify that the DSL and internet lights are on on the modem.

For the rest of the setup, watch this . It will walk you step by step in connecting your PS3 to the wireless internet. Thanks and please take a moment to rate as fixya.
