Question about SanDisk Sansa e250 MP3 Player

3 Answers

LOST SPACE! I got this mp3 player this past Christmas and it's worked fine. I was listening to it and all of a sudden, all of my songs turned into bad tracks and my videos said convert with sansa media converter. When I went in to delete the bad tracks, there were almost 3 quarters of the folders missing. Then, some of them wouldn't delete and said that the machine had stopped responding or the folder was busy! So, I tried replacing them and adding a few songs, but before I converted them, it said that 900 something MB's were FULL! I've added tracks and all of them play fine, I just really would like to get my space back, because I can only fit 150 something songs. Please HELP!!!!!!!!!! ; )

I thought I had copied a folder of Christmas music from my computer to my walkman. It copied but the songs are scattered in All Music, not by folder. The songs are so random, I can't go to album or artist...

You can rather create a playlist called Christmas songs and all these songs to that list. If you can get me the make and model of the mp3 player, I can get you specific instructions.

My MP3 Player suddenly shuts off by its self. It only does this on the 'menus' if i browse through them for more then about 10 seconds, but when actually playing a song it's fine. Though, when flipping...

First thing I would do is download and install a software update program from rca's website.
If the upgrade doesn't work, which it should, then battery pack or ribbon connection cable between battery pack and main circuit board is loose or faulty.

When I download songs one day the next day download songs it removes some songs I already had on the mp3 even though I have plenty of space for the songs.

It seems to me that you are using windows xp and thus facing this problem.I will suggest you to use windows vista and format the mp3 in fat32 partition and then copy paste the songs..It will be working fine......................
