My camera says "Batery depleted" every time it is turned on. I have tried numerous batteries that I have here.. and none seem to work. It its strange because they all did before. Any ideas?

Camera will not turn on!
On/Off black switch contact(inside camera not in proper position) might have to turn so the outside On/Off switch makes contact with black contact inside camera. Had to remove all screws seen on exterior of case/cover. Remove cover by inserting small flathead screw driver into slots and gently prying back cover from main body of camera. Good Luck!

The generic "weak battery" theory doesn't apply here. The problem is with the camera. The camera has developed either weak solder joins or weak interconnects between circuit boards and battery terminals.
The simple solution is to give the upper conner of the camera (next to shutter botton) a whack in your (other) palm, and it will most likely work again. If not, it needs to be disassembled and repaired, but it is not worth the trouble and cost for such a POS.

Batteries don't last forever. Are you using rechargable batteries, or AA cells? If you use AA cells make sulre they are fresh alkaline type batteries of a good brand. Cheap batteries don't have the juice to runn cameras fopr very long.
Also check the contacts in your camera and on the batteries to make sure they are not damaged or dirty.
