My xbox ix switching on and shows three red rings and after 5 minutes the brick turn orange and it now has two red rings whay do i do to fix it

Thanks for your question. To fix the 3 red lights what you will need to do is stop the heat getting to the GPU and the CPU and to do this you can use a good Xbox 360 Repair guide or of course you can send it in.

How do you creait a playlist

You must first Rip your albums or Mix CD's to your Xbox, insert an album and click on Rip CD to save it to your Hard Drive, play an album and click on edit or save playlist below the play/stop/forward/ buttons, and get rid of songs you don't want if needed. While playing that album still, back out with the red "b" button on your controller and back up until you are back at albums, now click on it, select another album, and choose "add to current playlist" or "add to playlist" and it will now stack that album on the bottom of the first. Again you can edit and delete or organize songs, then save playlist. Now you can name it and when you go to saved playlists instead of Albums, it will be there. The XBox won't read a disc, and it keeps saying Open Tray. I have used a cleaning disc twice, turned the power off, wiped the discs but nothing happens, do you know why this happens or whay i can do to fix...

First some basic steps to troubleshooting

1) Restart your console.
2) Check for loose cables.
3) Pull out all the cables, and get them back in.
4) Take out the hard-drive, and put it back in. Repeat this 4 times.

Try to use several similar Xbox 360-compatible discs in the console to determine whether the disc that you are using is causing the problem. To test whether the problem is caused by a specific disc, use a disc of the same type, such as a game disc, DVD movie, or music CD. If the problem does not occur when you use other discs, that specific disc might be the cause of the problem.

If you suspect that the Xbox 360 device could be causing the problem you can follow these steps

1. If you have access to another Xbox 360 console, try to play the disc on the other console. Or, if the disc is a CD or a DVD, try to play the disc on another device, such as a CD player, a DVD player, or a computer that is equipped to play CDs or DVDs.

2. If you have an Xbox 360 Hard Drive (HDD) or Memory Unit (MU) attached to the console, turn off the console, and remove the HDD and any attached MU. Then, turn on your console, and try the disc again. If this seems to resolve the problem, turn off your console, reattach the HDD and MU, and then delete any saved games for the game that is causing problems.

If this does not resolve the problem but removing the hard disk does, clear the hard disk drive cache

To clear the cache, follow these steps:

1. Move to the System Settings section of the Xbox 360 dashboard.
2. Select Memory.

Highlight a storage device.Do not press the A button, Press the Y button to view the Device Options screen, Select Clear System Cache, and then select Yes to clear the cache.

I presume you do not have a hacked version of Xbox 360 because this problem is prevalent with Xbox 360 dvd drives which are hacked.

if the above steps do not resolve your issue, please send your Xbox 360 to Repairs, call up MS support and check for the charges of Repairs in case your Xbox is not covered under warranty.

Please do rate my solution, Wish you Happy Holidays and Happy Gaming

Cant get xbox live connected

You have to make sure that your xbox knows your ip address and if your using wireless, your wep key. Your wep key should be on the back of your wireless router and you can make your xbox recieve your ip address automatically by editing the settings. you can edit settings by testing your connection. If your xbox does does not have your ip address, next to ip address it will say failed and next to that it says edit settings.

Storage device not found

Saving a game requires you to have a Hard drive or memory card did you purchase the premium edition xbox 360? you can look on the outside of the xbox 360 box it will give the specs and what came with the system. If the hard drive is not on the list then you will need to buy one the xbox doesn't come with any internal memory like the systems in the past have. you will need to purchase a HD or a memory card. If you have the premium edition let me know ill instruct on how to set it up.
