To be very specific I need the service # from the back of your tv. It is small writing and contains the HD52W59 and something like yx1 or like. Most of the deflection/power bds. sell for between 50.00 and 120.00. Get me the service # and I will provide the part # and the price and supplier.

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

Receivers complain about squeeling noise from my midland 1001z when I transmit. Is this an RF Gain setting problem?

I had the same (squealing) problem on transmit with the Midland 1001Z when I used it indoors as a base unit. The problem was my power supply: it broke into oscillation when drawing more than 150 mA at 13.8V. The 1001Z draws about 150 mA on Receive, and much more (but only about 900 mA) on Transmit. If using the 1001Z as a base unit, I suggest you power it with a fully-charged car battery indoors, or test your power supply to check if it can't supply the required 1 Amp, approx., on Transmit. It's a GREAT radio, just give it a good power supply. My power supply was defective out of the box, but now I have a good one and get great reports on signal strength and audio quality. Remarkable, for the low price and 3 year warranty. Good luck!

After a lighting my set didnt work any more. I believe the power supply and the main board are burned, albeit screen seems to be OK. Question where can I buy these two boards? Locally they are not...

Try this:
1. UNPLUG TV power cord from wall outlet (or power strip).
2. Trun ON TV (w/o power cord plugged in)
3. Wait 10 full minutes (not any less)
4. Plug power cord back in
5. Turn ON TV.

If power supply & main board are replaced, it doesn't mean it will work. If it were mine, I would do the above steps a few times (or unplugged overnight) before replacing (not repairing) it.

Get a Samsung!

Hope this helps...

Plasma HDTV shuts off by itself

There could be a problem with the Y or Z Sustain board. When you switch on, if there is no light at all then probably a fault has again developed with the power supply possibly due to it working too hard to maintain another area that has a fault. If the TV just gives you the red light, then check if you are getting the Vs (approx 195 V) & Va (approx 65v) voltages from the power supply. If they are missing then disconnect this supply from the sustain & if the voltages then are present your fault will lie with the susatin board. If they are not present, then there will be a fault with the power supply again.

Changing the fan

You don't change the fan. That is the power supply. That should be the box that the power cord runs into on the back. You may want to find a qualified pc repair technician in your area. I would recommend geek squad but their prices are high. You can pick up a replacement online for about 30$.

My dell 8400 will not start up. power switch blinks amber.

you need a new power supply. go to a store called microcenter or any place that sells computer parts and ask them for a "Sata Power supply 300 watt" it shouldn't cost you no more than 40 dollars

No power

It's most likely the power socket disconnected from the motherboard.

It will need to be resoldered but this is quite a tricky job.

You could also check the voltage output of the power supply unit with a multimeter.

Hope this helps.
