Nokia n 72 was hang & also airtel sim is not valid in my phone.

No point contacting contacting airtel customer care, because your SIM card is working perfectly on different phone so I'd suggest you to reset your mobile phone once, that can fix the problem for you. If the issue is same, take your mobile phone to nearest Nokia service center.

If You Do Not Made A Reset Just Do Reset You PHone By Using This Hard Reset Code But Before That Copy You Contact & SMS in Sim memory because after that might be it will get lost

Switch off the phone
pull out the memory card
sim Card
& then
type this code
*#7370#
After that start the phone without memory card
sim Card & Setup Settings & then switch it off and insert all the things

Few people use PIN locking system to lock their phone to avoid un-authorised access. Though this is a good option, it pisses you off sometime. Three wrong entry of PIN code will result in SIM blocking. Once SIM gets blocked, phone starts asking PUK code to enter. If you again enter wrong code for three times, SIM gets completely blocked. You have to walk into your service provider outlet to get a replacement SIM card.
PUK code is a SIM specific code assigned by your service provider. No way you can guess & enter it. So, when it asks for the PUK code, don't do anything, get the PUK code from your service provider. Airtel has a easier way of getting PUK code. For getting PUK code of a Airtel number, send PUK<space>PhoneNumber to toll free number 121. You can make use of any other Airtel number to send this message since your SIM might have been blocked already.
If the above method doesn't works or your service provider is not Airtel, call to customer care using any other mobile phone which uses the same service provider. They will ask some details about you to make sure you are the owner of the SIM card. Questions might include your billing address, email ID, numbers you recently called or messaged etc. They might even ask you number printed on the SIM card, so be prepared with all details before calling them. Once you get the PUK code, enter it into the phone & your phone will return to normal

There are various network specification for each operators like airtel, BSNL, etc
Nokia 3110 supports GSM 900 / 1800 / 1900 so Airtel SIM card should work in your mobile.
Try using some other airtel sim cards and some other sim cards from other vendors as well. SOme times the problem with network chip may also cause this problem. so in such case, you can approach nokia service center to claim under warranty.

Hi vsk, its a common problem. Dial 121 from any Airtel connection phone or use 9831098310 from other phones then select your language & talk with customer care person. They will asking you some question for confirmation about your phone no. After that they will fix it from Airtel server.

check whether is locked for the network(airtel)
If you by your phone on airtel offer it might be blocked by them (airtel). You need to format the software and reinstall the software.

go to settings .. phone settings .. thn operators selection ... manual ... and u check the network ... and see if airtel is available in ur loacality .... if availble .. th ni twuld work ....
