1st pull the 6 screws holding on the outer door panel. Then the 4 screws you already did. Look now at the side of the inner door at the top and you will see 1 screw on each side. Remove these and the panel will fall off.

How do I run a diagnostic test on the Bosch shu5315uc/u12? The cycle time of my dishwasher is at least 4-5 hours.

Long running time on a Bosch dishwasher is almost always a blown solder joint at the heater relay on the control board. You can resolder the joint, replace the relay or replace the control. Control board part number is 00266746.

I have a Bosch SHU9955US/14 (Integra) dishwasher. There is currently a 0 with and asterisk showing on the display and the unit will not run.

Thermal Fuse If the dishwasher won't start the thermal fuse might have blown. The thermal fuse helps to prevent damage to the dishwasher by turning off power so that it doesn't overheat. Once blown, the thermal fuse will have to be replaced for the dishwasher to work.

Door Switch The door switch, or switches, are sometimes called interlock switches. The door switch prevents the dishwasher from running while the door is open. If the dishwasher won't start, the switch or switches might be defective. To access the door switches, remove the control panel or inside door panel - depending on the model. They can be tested for continuity.

Main Control Board The main control board provides power to nearly every component of the dishwasher. If the dishwasher won't start the main control board might be defective. YOU should first check for more common parts. Many times control boards are replaced unnecessarily because the problem was not diagnosed properly.

Touchpad and Control Panel If the touchpad is defective, the control board might not get the signal for the selections made. If the dishwasher won't start and the display doesn't seem to change properly when the buttons are pressed, the touchpad might need to be replaced. On some models the touchpad and control panel are sold together and will need to be replaced at the same time.

Touchpad If the touchpad is defective, the control board might not get the signal for the selections made. If the dishwasher won't start and the display doesn't seem to change properly when the buttons are pressed, the touchpad might need to be replaced.

Timer The timer allows power to flow to the proper parts at the proper times. If the dishwasher won't start, the timer might be defective. Keep in mind that timers are often misdiagnosed as the cause of a problem. Check other components first before replacing the timer.

The start button will not stay pushed in

Hi
The start button, tends to fail on some Bosch Dishwasher models. The spring mechanism fails.

You can order the ON/OFF switch and replace it.

You need to disconnect the machine from its power source and open the control panel via hex screws. You may also need to open the front panel screws to get the top panel off.
Bosch dishwashers can be tricky and when you open the panel you many need to undo some latch tabs to get to the on/off switch.

Note the wiring on the switch before replacing.

If you thinks this solutions helped, please give 4 thumbs up.

My boosh dishwasher is stuck in rinse and wont drain, but when i press cancel on the washer the water drains.... whats causing this????

There is a chronic problem with Bosch dishwashers where the heater relay is soldered to the printed circuit board becomes loose (actually it seems like the solder just disappears from the connection).
You may also note that the timer seems to get stuck and will not advance.
Remove the top front panel, the circuit board is on the right side as you face the dishwasher. You need to re-solder the heater relay terminal.

The buttons, when pressed no longer do what they are supposed to.

There are little nylon/plastic tabs that provide the 'spring' to the pushbuttons behind the front panel. After a while these get brittle probably due to heat buildup from the heat of the D/W. You can buy a replacement panel at the local Bosch D/W repair center. I've replaced mine about every 2-3 years. Seems like a poor design and they never make it any better. Nothing you did. Next problem you will have is the D/W just runs and suns. This is a defective solder joint on the Electronics board controlling the heater.

Bosch Dishwasher Problem

if you remove the front panel (the 6 torx screws) and the facia panel you can access the control module. remove the module and open it up to see if you have a burn mark from the solder melting. if you do then you know to replace the control module

Water not heating up in the dishwasher

This appears to have the controls on the front , this unit the heat relay on the control board would separate from the control board causing the unit to quit heating. the control is located in the panel right behind the push buttons. you will either have to replace the control or you may be able to resolder the relay if the board has not been damaged
