Question about Toshiba Satellite A105-S4074 Notebook
The monitor gets completely distorted and grainy and gradually freezes up. You can still see the screen and slightly make out what is on it but the mouse will not move. Tried hooking up a monitor but it didn't not work. It appears the system freezes.
Could be several things such as Bad Ram, Bad program/bug running in the background, Processor overheating. or as bad as a/Bad Motherboard. If warranty, then call Toshiba otherwise here are some solutions to experiment with. 1) If bad ram - try swapping with a friend who has similar type of ram 2) Reload or Debug widows 3) Blow out vents, especially around heat sink and fans 4) Have a service shop verify then if bad motherboard and shop online for cheap used motherboard. Keep Me posted. - Scotty
