Question about Amphion Mediaworks M-280 Portable DVD Player
My wife and children bought me the M-280 approx. 3 years ago or so for me to use while at work. The other day while at work I used the DVD player with no problems. About 2 days later while at work I was going to use it to watch a movie with the DVD connected to the TV. The movie played on the TV but there was no picture on the screen on the machine. I disconnected the machine and put in a different DVD, when the moved started the company logo appeared onscreen but after that the sceen was blank (black screen), the audio was present but no picture. I have called the tech support number located in the owners manual, but the number is no longer worker. I have really enjoyed this portable DVD and have took exceptional care. I would really like to get it repaired. Is there any help that can be provided with phone numbers located here in the United States. If anyone has a Broken Amphion M280 dvd player, i would like to buy the charger and battery for my M280 unit. Thanks firstname.lastname@example.org

I have bad news for you, Amphion Mediaworks is no longer in business. The closed their doors a few years ago. In addition there is very little to no service documentation on their products so finding a repair shop willing to repair these units will be a task in and of itself.
Your best bet is to buy a new unit, or attempt to find a shop willing to repair the unit. I have had 4 customers I had to turn away for lack of finding the proper documentation to begin repairs on their systems.
I even had one customer try to sue me because while I repaired his DVD player I had to use what I knew about DVD players, and he wanted copies of the service documentation, but refused to believe that there was no documentation.
