RCA 5 disc entertainment system (RTD259) doesn't...

After a little over one month it stopped working. After you plug it up the red light on the power botton is on like it's normal. Hit the power, the dics player makes a noise like it's checking for a disc then it stops. The display never lights up. All you can see is a red light inside by the disc trays. What's the problem
