Khodor1huss- First of all who did the install, there is a good possibility that you are simply missing a wire that powers up the factory amp. What type of vehicle is it in,let me know and we can figure it out. cooltekMar,12/08

Bose 901 equilizer connections to sansui G901DB

It sounds like you may have only the 901 loudspeakers, and not also the companion 901 equalizer box. You must install the 901 equalizer properly--using the tape monitor loop of the G901 receiver. If you of not, the 901 loudspeakers will perform poorly.

Sony trinitron kv28ws2u turns on but has no display sound can still be heard through the stereo

If you have a DVD player etc hooked to one of the rear inputs see if it works---if it does suspect signal source is down (ie if using a box of some sort unplug it and plug it back to let it reboot.)

My wii fit board keeps repeating same instruction on screen " please step off me and press a" although no one is standing on it. Can you help please?

Sounds like one of the 'tact' switches is stuck and always sending a signal. Needs to be taken apart and checked. Then repaired or replaced.

Every time i turn my truck off the equilizer resets

If you radio doesnt save the stations either when you turn off the truck then it could be your wiring.. For example; Normally you have two power wires.. A red one(Accessory).. and a yellow one(Battery). The yellow one is like the memory.. and the red one powers the stereo when you turn the key. Try switching yours over.. See if that helps. Easily confused and you wouldnt really notice the difference.

How to connect old 901 Bose equilizer to amp/receiver

If you plan to use them with a home theater, you will need a seperate amplifier, as most a/v receivers don't have tape monitors. With an integrated amp hook rec out to the input on eq hook output on eq to playback on tape mon. with seperates hook pre amp out to input on eq, output on eq to power amp input.

Dvd screen not working on car stereo

Does it work if you apply the parking brake. If so you can get around this but taking the wire from the radio that goes to the parking brake and grounding it.

I am trying to work 2 equilizers together in my stereo set

My big Q is - 'Why are you wanting to use two EQs in the first place, when one will suffice. But that is not for me to ponder over. :)

How are you trying to hookup the EQs? I have my eq connected between my preamp and amplifier. The other common method is to insert the eq in the tape loop between cassette and amplifier/preamp. Then select the tape loop to put the eq in the signal loop. You then connect your tape player through the tape monitor jacks on the back of the EQ and select this option in otder to play tapes.

If you have two tape inputs, then you can insert one eq into tape 1, and the other eq into tape 2 and choose accordingly. Bear in mind that you dont have to use the tape in order to use either EQ in your system. Just make sure you are using one EQ or the other. If you attempt to use both, then you run into potential signal 'corruption' (i.e. loss of datta or signal pumping, depending on the frequencies enhanced/attentuated).

We have purchased a 2nd hand "ROWA" television, ,model number "RTM686" which has stereo sound, when watching any program on most channels backgrond sound and music keeps fading in...

In the end we sorted the problem ourselves, although the stereo sound now does not work at all,
we merely removed the video & audio leads from the rear of the set ( stereo sound) and moved them to the side which only emits a mono signal. although the sound is now only of the quality of a normal tv, we can at least enjoy watching a larger screen. An update in the near future to a large flat screen is on the cards.
