File Corrupt when trying to receive mp3 from bluetooth
I have a motorola v3 razor and had in the past been able to receive ringtones (mp3 format) onto my phone from other phones or computer via bluetooth. Now when I try it goes through the 100% of tranfer process only to show "file corrupt" and nothing is tranferred. I have tried the master reset, took everthing out then put it all back.. nothing has fixed the problem. I contacted AT & T only to find out they don't service bluetooth questions unless it involves the handset. I was given an incorrect Motorola number to contact, I looked up the correct one and after going through their automated service got cut off... Very upset and would like a remedty to get my phone back in working order for ringtone transfers.

Bluetooth is the only way I know to get ringtones onto your V3 other than downloading the ringtones or ordering a program called motorola phone tools. Your V3 isn't capable of whole songs. I have a phone that is a V3xx and it has a memory card that is recognized by windows as an external drive.
if she bought the ringtones they will not be able to be sent in messages to your phone because they dont allow that. if it wasnt brought it should work and it would only cost as much as a picture being sent (multimedia)...... hope this information helps
No help needed...after taking it to a tech center - and they said it was a phone issue which couldn't be fixed ( guess they were new hires from flipping burgers? ) I simply did a master clear...phone works fine and I can upload & store my ringtones w/o any issues.
so what model do you have? now a days almost high end fone supported
mp3's use as ringtone..give me the history of your fone ( have u notice
some abnormalities of your fone aside from that?) have to ask you this
questions to give you good solutions for it.
