What kind of oil does a hobart mixer model # h600t use?
Hi,im a hobart tech and know all these mixers well. What kind of mixer are you looking to write about? The differences are the sizes of bowls as 20qt,30qt,40qt,60,qt,80qt,140qt.Pick a mixer and i will write YOUR paper, but i want a fixya rating in return.
O.k.--Lets go with a hobart p660.These mixers are 60 quart bowls generally used in pizza shops. They have two speeds (1st and 2nd).The user puts his/her ingriedents (flour, yeast, oil, sugar, ect) into the bowl and raise the bowl. The user would then put the amount of time for the mixer to run,the start button is pressed and the mixer mixes the product for the set time. The operation of the mixer--------these mixers have saftey devices installed so there are no accidents. They have a bowl guard which is a cage that slides around the entire bowl preventing a mixer to start if its not closed.Another is a bowl height switch, which is the bowl has to be all the way up for the mixer to run. These mixers are the best and have always been superior to others.DONT OVERLOAD THE MIXER!!!!!!!!This is the most common way to damage the mixer or changing speeds while its running. When mixing dough only use 1st speed. If you use higher speeds you will damage the transmission sooner or later GUARNTEED!!!You can use higher speeds for cake batter, salad dressing, sauces, But any heavy dough 1st speed.Maintaining the mixer is easy---Dont hose it down or get it wet---Have the oil changed or check up every year---Keep ti clean and remove the dough hook every day and clean--If you hear a noise and something doesnt seem right with the mixer ,call for service because running it could and most likley cause extensive damage.Hope this helps.
Glad i could help.
