If your computer is online when it is connected to the modem using an ethernet cable, you can disconnected the pc from the modem. Use an ethernet cable to connect your modem to the ethernet port of your NETGEAR ROUTER. Turn on power of the net gear router. Connect your pc to the NETGEAR. Right click the network connection icon(at the buttom right of your screen) then click STATUS then click details. You should get an ip of 192.168.x.x. Open your browser, type on the address field http://www.routerlogin.net
when you are in the router page, click on set up wizard. it should configure the router and give you internet connection after the wizard completes
