I have Pandigitral 1.8 inch digital photo frame. It does not recharge the battery. I only have one cord that connects to the computer. Do I need another cord to recharge the battery through an electrical outlet?

I have the exact same problem with my Pandigitral Model Pan 18-0. I left it plugged into the USB port for over 10 hours, and it did not charge the internal battery even though the little charge symbol was indicating it was charging. The "manual" says nothing about charging the battery. This is a sealed unit and can not be opened to change the battery. The unit does work as long as you keep in plugged into the USB port. I think this is what we in the Quality Assurance business call a "shluck house" company!

Backup photos in photo frame internal memory.

There is usually some sort of "umbilical" cord that you connect between the Digital Frame unit and your computer. Should terminate in a usb male connector to plug into your computer for downloading and backing up images.

How do I get a usb cord for my digital photo frame

Contact the person or company that sold it to you and advise that it is not in the box. You can also try and contact the company using a google search, but it sounds like a china company rebadge, so that may not help.
Lastly, try a computer shop for a cable?

Why wont my digital photo frame turn on?

If you have not already done so, try another power adapter. In some cases, the cord between the power rectifier/step down transformer (the part that actually plugs into the AC outlet) and the connector at the frame end, becomes kinked or broken. The connector at the frame may also have become worn and not propely connected? If a second adapter does not work then the unit is faulty. Take it to your nearest service center for repair. (it may be less expensive to purchase another digital frame?)

My Philips 9FF2 photo frame no longer holds a battery charge. How do I replace the rechargeable battery?

the Philips 9FF2 photo frame has an internal rechargeable battery inside the photo frame. So in other words, the Philips 9FF2 photo frame needs to be disassembled for you to be able to access the battery, then make necessary replacement.
With the Philips 9FF2 photo frame turned off and remove from the charger, get a screw driver, use it to disassemble the unit to take the back cover apart in order to gain access to the internal part to get to the battery.
Remove the battery, take it to any electronics part store in your area and get a battery replacement. It is not necessary that you get a Philips battery, all you need is a battery with the same size and volt/watt.
I hope the above is clear.
Good luck.

Omnitech 8.5 Digital Photo Instructions

I had this same problem and after playing with it for several hours, I discoverd the software that came with the frame was copying my photos to the "D" drive. Since my frame was connected to my computer through the "g" USB, of course the photos were never copied. So I went the the Smartparts software (that came with the frame) and found the folder which was saved on the "d' drive. I then did a simple "copy to" "g" drive (this is where my frame was connected to. If these instructions are clear, ask again and I will try to further help you. Good Luck!

Have a kodak ex811 digital frame

Here are the steps:
Copy pictures, videos, and music between your frame and computer, using your computer's normal file copying tools:

1. Connect the USB cable from the frame to your computer
2. On your computer, open My Computer or Windows Explorer.

The picture frame appears as removable drives—one drive for each connected picture source in the frame, in this order: internal memory, memory cards, and USB devices.

3. Navigate to the pictures you want to copy. Then drag and drop them to the new location.
4. Unplug the USB cable to view your copied pictures.
