And that is why we have Small Claims Court. If they don't respond, that should be your next stop. You likely need the technician's name and phone number. Take your phone bills if you have call logs for the support calls. You need some proof that you received the wrong parts.
Take pictures of the part you installed, a video will be even better.
i would need a complete sears model number to look this up for you, however, you will need to remove the intire blade spindle housing, then you can remove just the shaft from the housing. and just replace the shaft. Will save a lt of money.
if you can find the complete model number you can go on the internet to
mtd.com/parts or to ayp.com/parts
and you can pull up a parts diagram and find the exact part number and order it online, or take model number to sears and they will either have it in stock or can order it for you. Sears will however cost you a fair amount more then ordering online. I hope this helps you
Now here is the confusing part. If your model number is a GE PDS22LBN the Ice Maker would be part number WR30X10039 for the model number posted above your post. If you have sears model number for the refrigerator it will be like 312.235698 for example. Confirm the model number of the refrigerator and I can tell you the correct Ice Maker part number. Thanks Sea Breeze
After being asked to call a number of different phone numbers, I was finally able to order a lid for this from the company that manufacturers this slow cooker for Sears.
$25.90, shipped to the US (the company is located in Canada) for the lid.
The part # is: 1003kj.
Note that the Sears model number for the slow cooker is KKC275.
The Sears item # is 68332 (even though the plate on the cooker and manual both say that the MODEL number is 68332).
get the part number and you usually can go to sears and either get a part or order it. I went and got one.
Just call the nearest sears store and they will tell you what they need to check on if they have it.
it's not very costly either.
hope this helps.
I too had the misfortune of dealing with the continuous beeping on my washer (model # 110.27062600). No code was given.I called the Sears hotline and asked for the manufacturers warranty department. I then called the recall line at (800)659-7026 and after giving my model number and serial number they discovered is was indeed recalled or being "upgraded"! They have ordered the part and are sending someone out. For those who have already paid to have it repaired I would call Sears and ask for a refund. Good luck!
On 11/17/07 I posted my problem with this fryer. I did not get a solution so today I called the customer service number 1-877-207-0923 and Virginia (customer service rep) suggested that I order a new cord ($5.95 plus shipping of $5.95). I should receive it in 7-10 days by UPS ground shipping. My model # is #168997 cord # PL1215. I hope this helps.
