For most, disconnect the mains for 5 minutes then reconnect the mains.
Some microwave ovens with a battery backed up clock require you to turn them off at the mains and reconnect them while holding down one of the control panel keys. This is usually either the CLEAR and START key or the + and - key.
locate the microwave's power supply cord.Remove the power supply cord from the wall outlet.Wait one to two minutes.Re-insert the power supply cord into the wall outlet. The microwave is now reset.
