Depends on the model and the type of reset you are trying to perform.

For most, disconnect the mains for 5 minutes then reconnect the mains.

Some microwave ovens with a battery backed up clock require you to turn them off at the mains and reconnect them while holding down one of the control panel keys. This is usually either the CLEAR and START key or the + and - key.

Reset lg microwave LMHM2017ST

As far as I am aware, you can reset the microwave entries with the STOP/CLEAR button. This is the only way to clear all entries on the oven.

Oven keeps turning off frequently. Will reset by turning off Breakers and resetting.GE Microwave JVM2070.

My answer is get rid of it. Microwave ovens are hazardous to your health! Any food microwaved is not food anymore except for cancer cells and giving you diabetes. This is one of the main reasons these problems are on the rise in the US. US has never tested MW ovens except for 'leakage'. Not worth fixing or having one. Save yourself! Do some research. Microwaves riddle the cells rupturing them rendering them unfit.

No, there is no possibilities to reset anything into a microwave oven.
Check the micro switches.

Nothing will turn on. I reset the outlet and the outlet is getting power, but the microwave is still as dead as Elvis. Is there an internal fuse that can be reset? Please help.
