T.v the tv in question. there is no picture when we turn the t.v on it keeps flicking between on and standby every couple of seconds.

Elonex tv keeps going onto standby, take about 10-15 goes to work.


Sounds like you may have some capacitors going bad. If it is a high end TV it may pay you to take it to a repair shop.

It turns off immediately after being turned on. The standby light flicks red for a second.


Power supply circuit problem. You have to check all +DC supply inside. Refer to schematic & proceed.

Flicking standby


Power supply is developing a problem sustaining voltage regulation and is programmed to shut down. Or it could be a bad OP-Amp on the interface board that's not closing when voltage is applied. Your tv needs servicing. You can send it too us or at your local tv repair shop for proper troubleshooting and repair.

Mine was doing that and I ordered a replacement power supply board for it and now it work. It's fairly easy to replace.
