I have the d-card Reader/Writer Software and am trying to install the comes up with "Setup could not find either Customizing or Customizing Pro, which are required to install the d-card reader/writer programs." I have already installed my 3D, added updates and the HASP driver. This is mine and I have never had any problems installing before.

I have the same problem as stated from above. I have installed my Husqvarna 3d software and It works okay with the windows vista...It recognizes the dongle and when I try to get it to send the pattern to the d=card reader writer it pops up with "can't find customizing pro which is needed to instal the d=card. I have been researching for some answer as to why it will except the customizing pro and the digitizing software and will work with the dongle. but I just can't get the reader writer to work.

Tech support no longer provides help for the 3d software even tho they are still selling it. They are pushing the 4d for a few thousand dollars!!

So no what do we do?

I had no problem installing the d-card on my previous computer (february 2006 when I bought it). I recently got a new computer and now am having the same problem trying to get the d-card reader to work - "Cannot find customizing or customizing pro software". I shouldn't have to buy any new software seeing as it worked fine before... did anyone find a solution to this??

Ok I just magically fixed my d-card reader, maybe this will work for everyone else as well: It seems really simple, but I unplugged the d-card reader from the USB port, and plugged it back in. A window popped up saying "New hardware found" and asked if I wanted to install the new hardware. With the install disc in the drive, I clicked ok for it to install and it just did it and it works now. I didn't open the install program on the cd (at which point before it told me I didn't have the right customizing software and it couldn't be installed), I just did it this way instead. It was quick and easy... give it a try and good luck!

My PC detected my LG DVD reader/writer rom but the rom is not reading maybe you can help me troubleshoot this problem thanks

Make sure the software for this DVD drive is installed into the PC and then your drive is connected to be detected and installed, This will also remove off all previous drives that might cause errors.

3.5'' internal memory card reader/writer installation problem

Your reader/writer is set up for use on 2 USB ports (hence the 9 pin connector), one port for the reader and one for the externak USB port. This has nothing to do with the port version. The long and short of it is you need a card with a matching internal header. NEVER break off a pin! Some of these headers have reversed connectons so you probably broke of one of the data pins and runed that header's ability. Typically the readers like you have come with several cables, so that they can match the headers you have available. Older motherboards and add on USB cards did not use standardized header configurations aas you seem to have found out. Your best bet at this point is contact the manufacturer of the reader and find out what brand of add on USB cards they recommend and go with that. AND AGAIN NEVER REMOVE ANY PINS FROM A HEADER !!!

How to transfer pictures, computer to ultra card reader/writer

Open up Windows Explorer. Not Internet Explorer. So you can see all your drives and subdrives.

Find your pictures. Let's say you had them on C:\My Pictures. Go there and copy them all. Then find out which drive your card reader/Writer is showing up as. Usually like G.

Once you've copied the pictures, switch to that drive and paste them. Remove the card reader and they should be on there.

Dvd/cd rom

hello melo21,this is nichu,
can you tell me the manufacturer name
of your DVD writer or reader. some times this problem persists if the discs u ae installing are not of good quality or else the lens of your DVD writer or reader might be a bit older resulting in poor reading capability of your DVD writer or reader .
alwas avoid inserting scratched discs which results a longlasting duration for your DVD writer or reader. take care
bye
