did you get the bulb from sanyo, or from another company that sells aftermarket bulbs? some of those are cheaply made and malfunction shortly after if they work at all. find your reciept, take it back and get a new one.
The Fix Ya rep suggested that I try the "Reset" button located next to the Audio out on the side of the projector; this solution proved to be the fix I needed. I was able to get the lamps to warm up and get into the menu to cut back the bulbs/power consumption on start-up, allowing the projector to function for a problem-free 4 hour period Unfortunately, I had the same issue this morning, but the same fix worked again.
