Tone control on Multi/Rec output on Denon 4802R

posted by Jamal Hooks on Mar 11, 2008

I have a Denon 4802R that I use for home theater, but I also do personal DJ'ing with it. I have a mixer going into the phone input, and two speakers attached to the SB/Multi outs. I also have a Zoom H4 connected to the Pre Out/Multi Zone output. The problem I have is some of my recordings have too much bass, at times sounding very muddy. I've adjusted input gain on my recorder, output gain from my mixer, and it clears up some. I still have some records that tend to be a bit muddy. Is there a way to adjust the tone directed through that output. I can adjust it on the Main amp, just not the Multi Zone. Thanks in advance
