Insert blank CD into cd-rom, open my computer, open folder containing mp3 files, Drag the mp3 files to the drive letter of the cd-rom drive, double-click drive letter - write files to disc

Hello i just bought a phillips mp3 cd played, just want to know if its an actual mp3 player or just plays cd from mp3 file

Phillips does not make a hybrid cd / mp3 device. If you are able to insert a cd into the device and play it then it can only play audio cds and audio cds with mp3s on it. That is to say, it is not your standard MP3 player like an iPod etc. It is a cd player that can play mp3 cds.

Songs from CDs won't play

Nick,

This is an easy fix. Most Mp3 players, the Aqua Mp3 player included, need to have the files in an mp3 format - not the CD format.

Simply convert your CD to Mp3 files on your computer using a software like Media Monkey http://www.mediamonkey.com/ (which has a free version). Once they are converted, then you can simply drag and drop them on to your Aqua Waterproof Mp3 player.

If you're using a Mac, then you can use iTunes to import the CD and then convert the files to mp3 within iTunes.

I hope this helps you get in the water and swimming to music soon.
