hello i have a problem with a black screen the camera works but the but the photos wont show up can you help?

I have a Panasonic Lumix DMC-LZ2 and the LCD screen is black when I am trying to take a picture. It works when you want to review old pictures but wont show new ones? HELP?

seems like the lcd screen has a glitch. won't show anything. camera works
