Hi, Buying a printer can be a little difficult sometimes. As you need a printer for business use, the first step is to assess you printing requirements. Secondly, there are so many brands, designs, types, etc. Points to consider: - Color or Monochrome (I always recommend LaserJet printers, which are reliable and provide good quality and fast printing) - For Home and Small business HP 1102 and similar is good. Small printer with 16 Page per minute A4 Printing. Laser-Jet Color CP1215 is a good color printer easier to use and maintain as well. - For monochrome A3 size printing HP 5200 is fine. It is a tough printer and capable of handling massive volume of printing. Expensive but almost maintenance free. - Next comes multifunction all-in-one printers such as HP M1132, M1212nf, M1536. These are 3-in-1 (Scan, copy, Print & Fax). (As im using the above models at my office and very satisfied with the performance, cost and maintenance etc, I have mentioned the models for you,, so that you can have an idea) You may consider other makes and models, which suit your needs. Above all you should consider the maintenance and support available for the product in your area.
Let me know if any further clarification/ assistance is required.
Hope it helps! Good Luck! Thanks for using Fixya! CreativeTECH
You need to ensure that you are telling the printer that and your print driver that you are using glossy paper as this will change the speed that the printer prints at and ensure better bonding.
Hello
You can any of HP laser Jet with your budget for legal size printing, all printer can print legal size printing, however there are some printers for quick reference.
You shouldn't really have to do much. Just change the paper tray setting to labels of the appropriate size. It should prompt you to be sure it's right when you put the paper tray back in. Just make sure the labels you use are rated for use in a laser printer. Ink jet labels will come off and wrap around the fuser and ruin it. about a $300 repair.
Please print a configuration page and let me know if that prints 2 copies as well, If yes,
within the menu, go to configure device > printing > copies, change the copies to 1
Check the way your print Jobs Spool up in your PC. you may have a totally different set up for printing in your new computer that takes two or three extra steps(such as spooling the print job) prior to actually sending it to the printer to be printed. If you have a user manual for your new computer, check the printer set up and see if it is set up to print directly to printer or print to spooling folder then to printer. Also try a different driver if you wish, I know the 2430 can use either PCL5 or PCL6 drivers... I'd start there and see if there is a difference.... the problem isn't your printer obviously its the way your computer is communicating to it. Best of luck to you.
Faxgenius.
have you checked the size of the paper the printer is set to print on?
