Try using the audio controls to make sure nothing is muted. go to your control panel and double click on "sounds and audio devices". make sure nothing is muted, and that your speakers are pluged into the green line-in jack

PUT YOUR CURSUR ON THE TOOL BAR THAT YOUR START BUTTON IS ON.
PRESS AND HOLD THE LEFT BUTTON ON YOUR MOUSE.
WHILE HOLDING THE BUTTON DOWN DRAG IT DOWN THE SCREEN TO THE BOTTOM.AS YOU DO THIS YOU SHOULD SEE THE WHOLE BAR MOVING DOWN, PERHAPS FIRST MOVING TO THE RIGHT OR LEFT VERTICALLY AND THEN ON DOWN TO THE BOTTOM OF YOUR SCREEN.
WHILE AT THE BOTTOM RELEASE THE LAFT BUTTON ON THE MOUSE, THE BAR AND START BUTTON SHOULD NOW REMAIN IN THE LOWER SECTION OF YOUR SCREEN..

You tube videos start and stop

The videos need some time to buffer/load.

This is indicated by the pale red line that is usually in front of the play bar which is the darker red bar.

Pause the video for around a minute for the video to buffer.
Then push play button.

You may need to set the detail down to 240p to increase the speed at which it loads.

When I try to download a video it constantly stops and loads and will not play all the way threw. It keeps pausing and playing on and off throughout the whole video. Why is it doing this?

I believe you are playing streaming video. if this the case, it would depend on your actual connection speed. when it pauses, it means, it is downloading portion of the video, then it resumes to play the downloaded part. Once it has been played, it will need to pause to download again. If your connection is not as fast as what is required by the streaming video, a trick would be to open the streaming video and when it tries to start, press the PAUSE button. Allow the progress bar to go till the end of the video (same like letting it download completely), then it will play fully when you hit PLAY.

Is anyone having THIS problem with youtube -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- When ever I try to play a youtube it pauses during play usually quite often...

That is usually a problem with slow (or heavily utilized) network connection. If you don't mind waiting a little, play the video and click the 'pause' button. Wait for the video to buffer (you can see the progress bar growing slowly) before playing the video again. Hope this helps.

Want to make a combined play pause button

I am figuring our what it looks like when you have suspended switches for two operations in a single switch. We don't find any double toggle switch in the market aside from electrical devices. You cannot combine switch wires from the motherboard to the button. It is good to explore for that yet you have 80% risk. But if we can place double throw switch just like what is done in digital radio/amplifier systems, the problem is where to fit in a case.

Why can't I play video that is sent to me ? it start to play then it stop, then it play agin then stop

Hi Farmermundy,
It sounds like your being linked to Streaming Video, and if that is the case? You can pause it (the pause button should be below the video and on the left side possibly in the middle) and you'll see the progress of the stream proceed and when it's complete or almost completed you can click on the Play arrow button and it should play through without it freezing on you.
I hope that helped you, and Good Luck.
