More than likely, your sound card is hard soldered to your motherboard.  Look on the back of the computer where you plug your speakers and microphone in.  That's your sound card.

Do you have a problem, why you need to find where it is?

When playing MP3 Or MP4 audio files with my Lynx ONE Sound Card, the audio sounds like it is "stuttering" Any suggestions for a solution. I have tried updating the driver.

the speakers plug/outlet is usually at the back of the computer you will have to open up the computer to check the lead attached to the rear of the input plug make sure the connection is good
try cleaning your computer of dust using a fine air blower from a compressor making VERY sure that there is no MOISTURE in the air line specifically around the sound card and the CPU central processing unit dust causes static to build up in a computer
hope this helps

No sound

no if external speakers work that means that the sound card is absolutely fine>
now let me tell u the computer itself doesnt have any in built speakers>
either u connect external speakers or the monitor that u use should have speakers built with it> then u connect the monitor to the computer then also use a thin sound cable from the monitor to the back of the computer on the green port

Sound device

Hi,

If your sound device is removable, like PCI Card, try to remove the PCI Card and clean the connector with dry brush, then place it firmly back again.

If your sound device built-in on your motherboard, please re-install the Device driver provided by the Motherbard Driver CD.

You will need to reinstall the audio driver for your computer. If you let me know the model of your computer or sound card, I can point you in the right direction.
