Question about Acer Aspire 5610 Notebook
First check well that is not a windows bug. To do so try starting
computer in safe mode and do system restore, or do a backup of your
files and do a complete recovery if you can. If it is not a system
problem then it must be one of following.
Remove battery and disconnect laptop from outlet. Connect it back to outlet with no battery in and check, if it works, then it was the battery.
Then start the computer in bios and leave the laptop on with bios page for one hour or so. If it turns off then it is probably an overheating problem related to malfunction of CPU fan. In this case the fan must be replaced.
If none of the above then most possible cause is a faulty motherboard, in this case you will need to find a spare laptop or motherboard of the same kind (check ebay).
