this error does not exist, perhaps "E22" means "Carriage error" or "E25" means "ASF(cam) sensor error"

Canon printer flashes "e" then "2" twice?

A sensor in the printer is reporting that one of the print cartridges has been incorrectly installed.

Quickest solution is to power off the printer, remove each cartridge, ensure all packaging has been completely removed and then reinstall the cartridges and power back up.

Canon 145 got E22

This is a carriage error and can be caused by something blocking the free movement of the carriage assembly.

Check that no paper is stuck or something is not blocking the carriage movement and all ink carts are securely positioned.

E22 error code

E 22 is a carriage error, which means there is still something wrong in the cartridge area.
Please do as follows:
Turn off the printer and unplug it.
Remove the cartridges. Check them for leaking or damage.

Look carefully inside the cartridge slots. Look for dried ink or blobs of ink (they can be cleaned away with a tiny bit of alcohol on a qtip. Look for bent or broken cartridge wire holders? Does everything look okay?

Leave the cartridges out. Plug the printer back in and turn it on.
Does the carriage move?

Reinstall the cartridges and make sure they are properly seated.

Close the lid. Turn off the printer
Restart your computer.
Turn the printer back on.

Tell me what is happening now. unless everything is okay!

Hold down the "Stop/Reset" button for 5 seconds and it dismissed the first message, but then there was another for a different cartridge, etc. Eventually I got it to work.
