Hi Ingemar... sorry for the delay getting back to you. It sounds like you may have a problem with transformer connections, or maybe orientation of a bridge rectifier. Check all connections in the power supply with particular attention to these. Check also that th3e caps are fitted the correct way around. Look also for hairline fractures in the PCB about the power supply. I am trying to find a circuit for your model at the mo. Not having much you have one you can link me to or upload to FixYa? Would get me on the same page as you to really get into the problem.

found an old post on an audio forum about the problem you have... have you updated to Sprague P/s caps...

check the DC offset at the output of the amp. If you have a problem here, the power supply may well sag, check for failed output transistors if that's the case.

Where can I get a fuse for my Krell KSA 300 amplifier.I had a blown fuse on the left channel.

Fuses rarely go on their own. The cause is likely to be a shorted semiconductor device in the left channel output.
Fuses are generally not specific to any brand. Is the fuse a tube with metal ends? If it is measure the length in MM. Then look at the end and you should see the rating. Either in A for Amps or MA for milliamps.
Any electronic parts supplier should have the one you want in stock. Buy several, for if the part I mentioned has gone, it will blow again.

Hi, my Krell KSA 150amp is running cool any suggestions as to why. Many thanks

Audio output section circuit draws enormous current at idle stage. Contact any service electrician to detect the fault and get it repaired. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Viewing it in "Mosaic" will make surf easy. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts.

Doesnt wanna start

After gas sits in the gas tank & carbeurator(s) for a long period of time. it turns into varnish, stinks like hell. you will need to remove your carb(s), and take them completely apart. clean out all the jets, clean out the choke also. put it all back together, with some fresh gasoline, and you'll be good to go bro......

Hello, after plugging on Ipod through my preamp hooked through my krell kav 300 integrated amp I heard a super loud noise and lost power. I examined the fuse and it looks fine. What do I do?

Sounds like the volume was way up when the iPod turned on. iPods are DC and cause a sudden thump through the speakers when they power on.
If the fuse is not blown, there may be another fuse you have not seen. Most amps have three to five fuses especially a 150watt/channel like the Krell.

Wiring Diagram required

At this point you may have fried the output stage. Is there a specific model listed on the back? I need that to locate the schematic.
