Question about Dell Inspiron™ E1505 PC Notebook
Check the bios to make sure the audio hardware is enabled.
if it is enabled, or if it was working before and you just need drivers:
download and install the sound driver located here:
this sound driver works with versions 1 and 2 of the motherboard.
once you install the driver, if it still does not find the hardware, try forcing it to by going to control panel, system, hardware, device manager and scan for new hardware.
if it still does not work, you most likely have a resource conflict or the sound module on the board is dead.
