How can i get my olevia to turn on it keeps saying no signal. had a storm and it went out

Do you know for sure if the cable box is out sometimes you have to reset the box . usually if you unplug the box for a couple of minutes it will reboot that may do it or try rebooting both at the same time when power is off it really isn't as the units keep current available for instant on that's why its a good idea to unplug most of your appliances when going away. check out the rebooting that should do it

I have an hp compaq nc6320 laptop that i am trying to reboot and nothing seems to be working right, when i restart the computer it only makes it to the windows did not load properly screen and restarts...

1st of all you have to make sure your hard disk in enabled in system setup. maybe f2 when you boot. go into hard disks and see if your hard drive shows up. then boot priority and make sure your your hard drive has a check next to it because the check means its enabled. if not then it looks like you might have a bad hard drive. you can try to purchase a usb enclosure and install your hard drive inside, then take it to any 2.0 usb pc or laptop port and see if you can retrieve any important data then do a full format and install it back into your laptop and install windows again

Sir my window 7 is currepted what can i dorahul

Hi,

If your Windows 7 is corrupted you may have a couple of options. The most extreme, but fairly simple is to reinstall Windows. If data is not backed up, however, you may lose this. You will need your Windows 7 CD/DVD to reinstall Windows. Insert the disc into your Computer, reboot the computer and go into your BIOS. Set the computer to boot from the CD/DVD drive first. Once your computer reboots it should boot into the CD and start the install process. You may have a recovery option here.

Another option is to use System Restore which is a built in Windows Utility. To use System Restore go to Start > Programs > Accessories or Administrative Tools and choose System Restore. Alternatively, you can go to Start and in the search box type System Restore. Select a Restore point before your system was corrupted and see if this resolves your issue.

If you can't boot into Windows then you will need to boot into Safe mode to work on the problem. While the computer is rebooting keep pressing F8 and you will get a menu. Choose Safe Mode at this menu and then perform your troubleshooting.

Compaq WF1907 monitor keeps going to sleep every couple minutes..

Sounds like the backlight may be on its way out.

Put a large font single word onto the screen in a high contrast such as white on black. Get the monitor near a window if possible, and the next time the monitor seems to go off, see if you can still feintly see the image using natural light.

The backlight can be replaced, but it is somtimes so expensive, it's easier to buy a new monitor.

How old is it?

Stalled screen, openning 75 windows at a time, dead blue screen

Reboot and while its rebooting keep tapping on F8 to go to Safe Mode. Once in Safe Mode select "Last known good configuration" and press Enter. If that doesn't work continue to go to Safe Mode and do System Restore to an earlier date of before this happened

Try and use it in 'safe mode' by pressing F8 in advanced startup options.

Then do the system restore.
